Acknowledgements

In this work I would like to acknowledge first my students who, in good nature and good faith, enter my experiments with enthusiasm and buoyant humor. A special thanks to the students enrolled in CD 315 in the summer of 2002 for their groundbreaking work with multigenre research projects.

I would like to also acknowledge my mentors, Charles Lloyd, Dolores Johnson, and Amy McElroy, who have all been multigenre explorers and have paved the way for my journey. I would like to acknowledge my co-conspirators, Pat Delaney, Albert Delgado, and the other edubloggers listed in Will's right hand navigation bar, for their encouragement, support, insight, and tweaking.

Lastly, I want to acknowledge my parents who raised me in an atmosphere where learning was as essential as breathing and questions were as valuable as gold.
